Father Rabbit | Online Operations Manager
An exciting opportunity has opened up to join the Father Rabbit team. We are currently looking for an experienced Online Operations and Dispatch Manager. The candidate needs to be enthusiastic, results focussed, and thrives in a fast paced environment. You will be responsible for managing the online dispatch and customer service team; fostering productivity in line with our KPIs, boosting morale and creating a high-energy atmosphere.

Since its launch in 2010, Father Rabbit has established itself as an iconic New Zealand business with four locations: Herne Bay, Mt Eden, Newmarket, and Orakei Bay. Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership - inspire, motivate, engage and drive results through others, ensuring business goals and targets are met
- Day to Day Management of the online and customer service team - making sure there is routine and structured participation of all team members to dispatch orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Managing the experience for the customer, making sure the delivery experience marries with our values and what we are marketing in terms of presentation and delivery timeframes and fosters relationships with customers in their community
- Shopify, Apps and integrations. The day to day running of the backend of Shopify, Shipping and any other backend apps
- Liaising with the web developer and Head of Graphics to update website
- Continually monitoring website functionality and Suggesting improvements to owners
- Troubleshooting with Cin7 and continually improving our workflow
- Assist with wrapping and packing correctly and accurately according to Father Rabbit standards
- Manage our courier partners and freight schemes building strong relationships; ensure the most suitable and economic courier service is used
- Ensure any customer returns are processed through to the customer service team to action accordingly
- Seeking out opportunities to engage more with their online community to increase sales online
- Staff Training and reviews
- Reporting against budgets and KPIs monthly
- Strategising and staying ahead of competitors
- Expert understanding of the Father Rabbit products
- VIP and loyalty programme operations management
Applicants must have:
- Over 5 years of experience with inventory and online dispatch and ecommerce
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to work well under pressure
- A nurturing and empathetic leadership style
- Effective communication skills
- High energy and motivation
- Ideally experience using Shopify, Cin7 and Xero
- Enjoy always evolving digital systems
